- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Peel, core, and slice the apples into ¼-inch wedges. Combine apples with sugar and 1 tsp of cinnamon; toss until coated. Spread the apple mixture in a greased 9×13 baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, 1½ cups sugar, baking powder, 1 tsp cinnamon, and salt until blended. Add the beaten eggs and melted butter, mixing until crumbly.
- Sprinkle the topping evenly over the apple mixture without pressing it down. Drizzle the remaining melted butter over the topping.
- Bake for 45-55 minutes until the topping is golden brown and the edges bubble. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
